We pick you up at your hotel, drive to the ferry and explore Heimaey together in our van.
On the island, we follow scenic coastal roads through lava-shaped landscapes, with short walks and plenty of stops for photos. It’s relaxed and accessible – perfect for anyone who wants to see Iceland from a different angle.

From hotel to island

Hotel pick-up
We pick you up from your hotel in Reykjavík in our comfortable van and head south along the coast.
Coffee break
Time to stretch your legs and grab a coffee on the way to the ferry port.
Ferry to the islands
Board the ferry for the short crossing to Heimaey – keep an eye out for seabirds on the way.
Explore Vestmannaeyjar
Discover the island by van with short walks: Eldfell volcano, Eldheimar museum, Elephant Rock, the Stave Church and – in summer – puffins. Until around 16:00.
Ferry back
Relax on the ferry back to the mainland with the islands fading behind you.
Back in Reykjavík
We drop you off at your hotel after a full day of island life.
